Weird People

Sometimes through the course of our life's journey, we encounter people who are different from us. People who come from a different country, different culture, different upbringing. For these people, we are tolerant and adaptive to their quirkiness.

But what of people who more or less come from the same environment as us? We are all the more surprised when their actions defy the norms that we have setup for ourselves.

Take for example a co-worker i have who asks weird questions. Questions that most people deem unnecessary and already obstrusive to one's privacy. Answers to the questions have no work-related merit whatsoever, so why ask them at all??? This co-worker, however, is consistent with these questions. Thus, making me dig deeper to understand such personality.

Maybe it was imbued from the environment? Maybe that's just how it is with my officemate.

I just need more patience and understanding.. but it would be best if my officemate would be made aware that such actions are not welcomed with open arms by everyone. hehe :p
