'm home early today and it's a blast! I think I boarded the bus (ortigas ilalim) around 6:30pm then went down at Galleria and got on a jeep and got home at 7:55pm! Woohoo! I got home early! It feels great! The travel time is admittedly longer than when I ride a taxi home but I came prepared and was able to read about 30 pages of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Another hurray for finally starting with a book on my growing queue.
Another odd thing was that the bus was not crowded at all! NOt in any stops did passengers start crowding in which i found surprising - but I'm not complaining! As I was walking towards the jeepney, I saw my churchmate Michelle who came from Eastwood and lived in San Juan as well. We rode the jeep together and she even paid for my fare!
Call me lucky, but I think it's God's grace ;)
I feel so blessed...same with this morning's transpo incident where a taxi stopped in front of me even before i started looking for one. Another one in disguise was the flat tire that prevented me from getting stuck in the flood.
These things are mind-boggling and sometimes unbelievable but all I can say is that there's been a lot of songs and quotations written about faith and how it moves mountains but it's a whole lot different when you get to experience it.

Oh, by the way, I'm now an ISEB Certified Foundation Level Tester! Our trainor says that it's worth a lot in the UK since it's the certification recognized by the British Computing Society. Cool!. I'm actually waiting for the bond, the training being $1500 and all...heheh.. .but it's all good :)
